Under the guidance of Professor Deng Song from Yunnan University, a paper written by the university's graduate students entitled A Study on Credit Data-Based Poverty Alleviation in Rural Yunnan, China, was recently published in the international journal Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience.
This was completed by professional graduate Yuan Zhen and academic graduates Yang Di, Gao Zhaoli, and Yao Chenghui after four years of research and joint writing.
The research focuses on rural poverty alleviation in Southwest China's Yunnan province. The results show that there is a causal relationship between agriculture-related loans and the per capita net income of rural residents. At the same time, industrial development loans under the agriculture-related loans have the most significant impact on the per capita net income of farmers.
The main contribution of the paper is to use data analysis to demonstrate the effects of credit on improving the per capita net income of rural residents.
The publication of the paper is an important academic breakthrough made by students majoring in the public management discipline at the university in recent years, which demonstrates the collaborative education of academics and professionals and the combination of theory and practice.
