The Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan University is the only comprehensive hospital in Southwest China's Yunnan province with the ability to fully sequence the treatment of cleft lip and palate, including speech therapy, psychotherapy, orthognathic surgery and others.
Since the hospital opened its diagnosis and treatment program for children with cleft lip and palate in 1994, it has successfully provided safe and high-quality sequence treatment for more than 10,000 patients with cleft lip and palate.
Since the hospital's Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery cooperated with the Yanran Angel Fund in 2019, it has participated in its founding to help nearly 100 patients with the disease.
The 2022 "Yanran Angel Journey - Yunnan Tour" activity is expected to help 57 patients with cleft lip and palate, who will be sent to the hospital in three batches for free surgical treatment.
