Inspur Yunnan Co signs up to work with Yunnan University

Tech group Inspur Yunnan Co held a signing ceremony on Oct 19 for a new strategic cooperation agreement with the School of Information at Yunnan University, or YNU – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province.

Inspur is a leading cloud computing and big data service provider in China. It has been involved in national, provincial, municipal, county and district key projects – such as the China Forestry Big Data Center, the China Forestry Trading (Storage) Center and Kunming Municipal Government Cloud Center.

The School of Information Technology of Yunnan University is the largest engineering college of Yunnan University.

It has two first-class discipline doctoral programs and post-doctoral mobile stations. It also has scientific research platforms and teams – including Yunnan key laboratories, the Yunnan Development and Reform Commission Engineering Research Center and the Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology Academician Workstation.

YNU's training of people is said to be highly consistent with Inspur Yunnan Co.

The two sides will cooperate deeply in cutting-edge scientific research, innovative talent training, developing university-enterprise cooperation concepts and other aspects, so as to promote the theoretical and scientific research of Inspur in different sectors.

At the same time, in terms of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data and other aspects, the two sides will be committed to the transformation, incubation and implementation of achievements.
