The 2022 Organic Metals Emerging Industry Seminar in Yunnan Province, hosted by Yunnan University or YNU, was held in Kunming – capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – on Oct 21.
Experts and academics from YNU, the Kunming University of Science and Technology and other universities and businesses such as Yunnan Haihan Technology Co attended the seminar.
From the different perspectives of universities and companies, participants made suggestions on promoting the integration of the industry's innovation chain, supply chain, financial chain, talent chain and policy chain. The goal was to form an innovative university-enterprise integrated cooperation model for sustainable development.
The School of Materials and Energy of Yunnan University is said to be characterized by its international mindset and it is also application-oriented, open and has multidisciplinary integration. What's more, it has gathered innovative resources and elements from at home and abroad and built a distinctive scientific and technological innovation system with an international perspective.
Provincial and municipal leaders fully affirmed the school's achievements at the event.
Moving forwards, plans are for the school to continue to give play to its institutional advantages and strengthen its cooperation in technology research and development. It will also leverage its pilot test certification and its market promotion, as well as actively explore how to more rapidly bring the scientific research achievements of the emerging organic metals industry to market.
