Updated: Nov 8, 2022

The research team at the School of Physics and Astronomy of Yunnan University (YNU) has recently made strides in the research of light-emitting solar cells.

The team cooperated with Peking University Researcher Zhu Rui and Academician Gong Qihuang's team.

Their research results have been published in internationally-renowned journals Advanced Materials and Communications Materials.

Hu Juntao, a doctoral student at YNU, is the co-first author of the paper. Zhu Rui and Luo Deying, doctors from the University of Toronto, and YNU Academician Lyu Zhenghong are the co-corresponding authors.

Professor Edward H. Sargent from the University of Toronto also participated in the research.

The research project has been funded by the National Joint Research Center for Optoelectronics and Energy Materials, Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Device Engineering in Yunnan Province, Double First-Class Discipline Construction Fund of YNU, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, National Key R&D Program, and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation.
