The sixth China-South Asia Expo and the 26th China Kunming Import and Export Fair opened grandly. 150 students from Yunnan University, or YNU, in Kunming, Southwest China's Yunnan province, served as volunteers.
The expo is an international conference jointly held by the business departments of South Asian countries. A total of 80 countries, regions and international organizations, more than 30 domestic government agencies and 64 Top 500 enterprises participated in the expo.
Since the first expo was held in 2013, YNU student volunteers have served for six consecutive years.

Student volunteers assigned to the volunteer teams of press and publicity department, the provincial trade promotion, the provincial business research institute, and the provincial education department to provide assistance and logistics services for the event.
"In the process of volunteering, I assisted media in filming, which made me think more deeply about my major and accumulate practice experiences," said Qiu Jia, a student volunteer majoring in journalism and communication at YNU.
