Yunnan University, or YNU – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – held its seventh Career Experience Week on Nov 21-25, attracting more than 3,000 students.
Providing students with realistic career scenarios – using open communications, immersive participation and interesting interactive simulations – the event was well received. It helped guide them to understand themselves and explore their future career plans, which was seen as laying a good foundation for their career choices and development.
Students who participated in the event said it would help them more intuitively grasp the knowledge, methods and skills for life planning. Moreover, they said it would shape and refine their employment competitiveness.
Moving forwards, plans are for the university to further innovate its methods, expand channels and ensure that career guidance services run through the entire process of talent training – helping students realize higher-quality employment.
