The fourth National Seminar on the Construction of Research Institutions on Organ Affairs, co-hosted by Yunnan University, was held in Kunming on Dec 1.
The seminar aims to strengthen the overall planning of theoretical research, formulation of degree programs, and the construction of research institutions focusing on national organ affairs.
Xu Yongsheng, deputy director of the National Government Office Administration, and nearly 130 experts and scholars from 28 organ affairs research institutions and many colleges across the country attended the event.
During the exchange session, participants discussed and exchanged views on the construction of research institutions for organ affairs, government operation guarantee management degree programs, and organ affairs functions and industries.
Yunnan University is one of the first 11 pilot units in China to set up a second-level degree program for government operation guarantee management, part of the public management first-level degree program, and carry out postgraduate training of professional degrees and academic degrees.
Lin Wenxun, secretary of the Party committee of Yunnan University, attended the opening ceremony and made a speech.
He expressed that in the future, the university will continue to promote government-university integration, jointly build a think tank platform to cultivate talent, and improve the theoretical research level and talent training quality of organ affairs management.
