In 2022, Yunnan University, or YNU, located in Kunming, Southwest China's Yunnan province, made a series of achievements in training new talent.
Throughout the year, the university built 18 national first-class professional construction sites, was approved as a national innovation and entrepreneurship college, began work on 23 projects to reform the talent training model, published 37 textbooks and teaching aids, and launched 23 courses on the national higher education smart education platform.
Last year, students at YNU won 143 national awards at high-level discipline competitions recognized by the Ministry of Education.
Among them, the student team from YNU won a special prize at the 17th "Challenge Cup" National Undergraduate Extracurricular Academic and Scientific Works Competition, ranking 11th in the country in terms of total score, and won the top prize in the competition for the first time.

The student team from the university also won 11 national awards and 21 provincial gold awards at the eighth China International "Internet+" Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a record amount for the university.
Additionally, last year, the secretary of the Party committee and president of YNU visited various enterprises to find high-quality jobs and internship opportunities for graduates.
