Qingdao alumni wish YNU a happy 100th birthday

The Qingdao Alumni Association of Yunnan University, or YNU – located in Kunming, Southwest China's Yunnan province – on Feb 11 held a party in Qingdao to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the school on April 20.

Hu Jianfeng, secretary-general of the alumni association, attended the meeting online and delivered a congratulatory message.

More than 70 alumni in Qingdao, the heads of nearly 30 alumni associations of first-class universities in Qingdao, and representatives of the Yunnan Chamber of Commerce in Qingdao attended the party together.

All participants wished YNU a happy 100th birthday and recorded a video for the celebration.

Tango, Beijing Opera, talk shows and other performances were held onsite, and alumni of YNU had the chance to interact and talk with one other.
