Yunnan University ice cream celebrates 100th anniversary

The 100th anniversary of Yunnan University, or YNU – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – on April 20 is getting ever closer.

Recently, the brand culture store of the university launched an ice cream to celebrate.

The image of the ice cream was created based on the design of ginkgo trees in the grounds of YNU and the Huize Hall Building.

Over the past 100 years, Huize Hall has become the symbol of Yunnan University.

At the same time, every November, the ginkgo leaves at YNU begin to turn yellow.

Ginkgo Avenue is known as one of the most beautiful places on YNU's campus. As a result, the form of the ice cream was designed in the shape of a ginkgo leaf.
