Nearly 40,000 graduates seek positions at Yunnan job fairs

The 2023 recruitment fair for college graduates in Yunnan was held in Yunnan University in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province, on March 7 – and at the same time, a State-owned enterprises special recruitment fair was held there.

The job fair was attended by 532 top businesses and institutions from over 20 provinces and cities – including Yunnan, Hubei and Guangdong provinces. Nearly 40,000 graduates from more than 100 colleges and universities, both inside and outside Yunnan province, came to apply for posts.

Employers offered over 20,000 positions in various industries, including manufacturing, construction, education, software and information technology services, as well as in scientific research.

This was the biggest campus recruitment fair with the highest participation of students in Yunnan in the past three years.

The wide variety of posts and efficient services won praise from both employers and students.

According to estimates, about 170,000 resumes were submitted by the job seekers at the job fairs and more than 11,000 people secured a preliminary employment offer.
