Industry-university projects at Yunnan University approved

The Ministry of Education recently announced the approved list for the second group of industry-university collaborative education projects in 2022 – with Yunnan University, based in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province, getting the green light for 28 projects.

YNU got approval for 53 industry-university collaborative education projects last year. 230 projects in this field of endeavor have been approved for YNU since 2016.

The scheme aims to promote cooperation between universities and enterprises and deepen production-education integration and to coordinate education.

In 2022, a total of 20 departments and other units at Yunnan University received project approval. The projects were supported by 42 leading domestic enterprises, including Huawei, Baidu and KQ GEO Technologies.

Moving forwards, plans are for YNU to boost university-enterprise, university-cities and inter-university cooperation in education – and to build a multi-dimensional educational practice system.
