Yunnan University cooperates with Yuxi Normal College

Yunnan University and Yuxi Normal College signed a cooperation agreement on April 7.

Yunnan University is located in Kunming, while Yuxi Normal College is located in Yuxi, both in Yunnan province. The provincial government has been promoting the urban integration of the two cities.

In the past, Yunnan University sought to strengthen cooperation with Yuxi. The university has made solid achievements in the research and discipline construction of the Paleontology Museum of Maotian Mountain, the building of the Fuxian Lake Scientists Forum, and the survey of Chinese rural society.

Duan Hongyun, president of Yuxi Normal University, said he hoped that Yunnan University can help it with its discipline construction, team building, scientific research and talent training at the event.

At the signing ceremony, Yuxi Normal College presented a specially-created oil painting – depicting Mingyuan Building on Yunnan University's Chenggong Campus – to Yunnan University.

Witnessed by the leaders of both schools, Chen Keqing and Yang Wei signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective schools.
