Music festival celebrates 100th birthday of Yunnan University

To celebrate its centenary on April 20, Yunnan University held a vibrant, pulsating and rhythmic music festival at its Donglu Campus that rocked and rolled on April 8.

The event was held at the campus stadium – renovated in September 2022 with a new synthetic track and artificial grass, as well as the addition of a lighting system – and these renovated facilities reportedly served the festival well.

All the performers, stage workers and volunteers for the music festival were students of the university.

The festival ended with all the guests and audience singing the school song.
