YNU holds glittering gala to celebrate 100th anniversary

Yunnan University, or YNU, held a glittering gala to mark its 100th anniversary on the evening of April 19.

YNU is located in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province.

Rousing songs were belted out, banners were waved, musicals were staged and there were poetry recitations and other forms of entertainment.

The university capped it off by setting off thrilling fireworks.
