The launch ceremony for recruiting talents from Taizhou in Yunnan and a special job fair for Yunnan University were held at Yunnan University, also known as YNU, in Kunming, Southwest China's Yunnan province, on April 25.
During the event, the employment situation of college graduates in Yunnan was discussed.
Wu Jian, vice-president of YNU, delivered a speech at the ceremony. He said that YNU graduates have high comprehensive quality, adding that he hoped that all government departments would continue to give more job opportunities and development space to them. He also expressed hope that the graduates would actively work in Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province.
Zhu Qiaoxiang, a member of the standing committee of the Taizhou municipal Party committee, gave an introduction to Taizhou's economic and social development, the city's demand for talents, as well as its policies for attracting talents. Zhu added that Taizhou welcomed YNU graduates to work in the city.

At the special job fair, 31 high-quality enterprises and public institutions in Taizhou provided 737 job opportunities for the event, which attracted more than 400 graduates from YNU and other institutions. Many students signed employment agreements with several enterprises on site during the event.
