YNU professors make breakthroughs in artificial intelligence

Updated: May 5, 2023

Professor Yang Yun, Associate Professor Liu Jinzhuo and Associate Professor Jiang Hua of the Software School of Yunnan University (YNU) have recently made a series of breakthroughs in artificial intelligence. They published four papers in top international conferences and journals recommended by the China Computer Federation (CCF) for recognition as Class A.

Yang's research team presented a paper titled Global and Local Mixture Consistency Cumulative Learning for Long-tailed Visual Recognitions at CVPR 2023, a Class A top-level international conference recommended by CCF.

A paper entitled Emergent Leader-Follower Relationship in Networked Multiagent Systems was published in SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences by Liu's team. The study provides theoretical support for the design of a cooperative emergence mechanism in large groups.

Two papers independently written by Jiang's research team were accepted by the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI 2023), a Class A top-level international conference recommended by the CCF.

One of the papers is entitled An Exact Algorithm for the Minimum Dominating Set Problem. It studies the complete algorithm of the minimum dominant set problem, which is the world's first effective algorithm for the complete solution of the minimum dominant set problem.
