YNU alumni shine in Hong Kong

Distinguished alumni of Yunnan University (YNU) in Kunming, the capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province, have been dispersed all over the country. Three of them are now enjoying notably successful careers in South China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

After graduating from the School of Economics at YNU with a degree in business administration, Long Yu worked in Guangzhou and then moved to Hong Kong. Currently, she is the co-founder and managing director of a Hong Kong education group company. Through the company's new media youth platform, she provides consultation services for education, cultural exchanges, employment and immigration for hundreds of thousands of young people in Hong Kong and Macao.

She is also the executive vice president and secretary general of the Hong Kong Asia Youth Association. She is actively engaged in public welfare undertakings, has helped hold hundreds of cultural and economic exchange activities for young people from Hong Kong and Macao and the Chinese mainland, including Yunnan, as well as other countries around the world.

Feng Wei, an alumnus of YNU, is now a de facto celebrity in the Hong Kong insurance industry and has been awarded international honors in the industry, such as the MDRT and COT, on several occasions.

Another alumnus, Chen Hongbing, is mainly engaged in catering chain operations, food processing and the development of internet software and technology in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the Chinese mainland.
