The Ministry of Education recently announced the results of the second batch of national-level first-class undergraduate courses. Sixteen courses run by Yunnan University (YNU) in Kunming, Southwest China's Yunnan province, were approved.
They include four online, seven offline, and two mixed online and offline courses, as well as two virtual simulation experimental teaching courses, and one social practice course.
A good curriculum is a crucial part of a professional teaching system, and the establishment of a first-class curriculum system paves the way for a first-class education system.
Focusing on the practical needs of teaching reform and innovation, as well as changes in student learning, the university has optimized its curriculum system, adding innovative content and new teaching modes.
It has also reformed the way it sets up different curricula based on various categories.
As of now, 27 undergraduate courses created by Yunnan University have been approved as national-level first-class undergraduate courses.
