Tongling promotes cooperation with Yunnan University

Zheng Gang, minister of organization department of the CPC Tongling municipal committee in Anhui province, led a team to visit Yunnan University and exchange views on university-city cooperation on June 14.

Wu Jiande, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Yunnan University, Hu Jinming, vice president of the university, and nearly 300 representatives of teachers and students attended the meeting.

Wu used it to introduce the achievements of Yunnan University's development in recent years as well as the situation regarding personnel training. He encouraged its students to deepen their understanding of what Tongling has to offer in terms of work opportunities and more.

Zheng introduced Tongling's history and culture, resource advantages, industrial structure, employment environment, and policies for attracting talents, and invited students to work or start businesses there.

As two representative enterprises from the city, Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holding Co and Anhui Huachuang New Materials Co made recruitment presentations to the attending students.

Yunnan University has been closely connected with Anhui province and Tongling city in education, and the results of their cooperation are already bearing fruit. Both sides said they hope to carry out more such cooperation in the future.
