This summer, Yunnan University's Youth League Committee actively carried out the "Go to the Countryside" social practice program. Of the 324 university-level project teams that were sent to immerse themselves in grassroots communities across the country, 16 summer social practice teams and 11 volunteer service teams were selected as national special project teams.
The list was recently released by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League.
The 27 selected teams will focus on promoting and inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture, serving the rural vitalization strategy, and caring for and supporting young children. They will also enhance agricultural skills, promote standard Mandarin, engage in the "Healthy China" strategy, and contribute to ecological protection.
The teams will travel to grassroots communities, neighborhoods, rural areas, and schools to design and implement various social practice projects.
Moving forward, Yunnan University's Communist Youth League will continue to deepen educational practices at the grassroots level, integrate them into daily life, and make them a regular part of students' experiences. The goal of this program is to guide the university's youth to places where the country needs them, allowing them to receive an education, develop skills, and make contributions.
