Yunnan University teams shine at national information event

The national finals of the 10th "DT Cup" National College Students' New Generation Information and Communication Technology Competition were held in Beijing from July 12 to 16.

Participating teams from Yunnan University won one first prize, one second prize and three awards of excellence at the finals. The university also won the "Excellent Organization and Collaboration Award" at this year's event.

In addition, the university's students won nine first, 16 second and 18 third prizes in the Yunnan provincial competition.

Since the launch of this competition in April, Yunnan University contestants have experienced the university-level competition, Yunnan provincial competition, national qualifiers and national finals, resulting in excellent results.

The competition is part of the 2023 "National College Student Competition Ranking" organized by the Chinese Association of Higher Education. It has received great attention and active participation from teachers and students in the field of information communication across the country.

During the finals, Yunnan University competed with 95 teams from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology and other universities.

They not only had to complete the 5G engineering simulation practice, but also carry out the commissioning competition of real 5G commercial equipment on a live network, which is a formidable challenge.
