"Understanding China" Yunnan Tengchong Research and Service Group went to Qingshui township, Heshun town, Houqiao town, and other places in Tengchong city, Southwest China's Yunnan province, to carry out research and service activities from July 22 to 27.
The team consists of 14 teachers and students from the Institute of International Rivers and Eco-Security, the School of Mathematics and Statistics, and the Law School of Yunnan University.
The research and service group engaged in patriotic education by visiting significant sites such as Li Yuanquan's former residence, the Memorial for the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in Western Yunnan, and Houqiao Port. This allowed them to deeply connect with the spirit of our revolutionary ancestors. Additionally, they explored the high mountain oolong tea production area to delve into every aspect, from cultivation and research to processing and sales. This comprehensive experience not only enhanced their knowledge but also reinforced their understanding of industrial vitalization.
This research and service activity has actively guided college students out of the campus and into society and practiced the mission of young people with practical actions.
