Yunnan University excels at provincial 'internet +' competition

The finals of the ninth Yunnan "Internet +" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held at Kunming University on July 25-26.

The provincial competition attracted 81 universities and 46,300 projects, and the number of students participating exceeded 243,400. A total of 1,858 projects entered the provincial finals, and 200 gold medals were awarded.

In this competition, Yunnan University recommended that 114 project teams participate, and won 30 provincial gold awards, 34 silver awards, 35 bronze awards, and one "Rural Vitalization Award" were handed out.

Additionally, three project teams from the university were selected for the "championship competition" of the provincial event.

After fierce competition, Yunnan University won second place for its project dubbed "Promoting Rural Vitalization through the Integration Mode of Meaty Production and Research". It also claimed third place for a project titled "Making Art a New Engine to Develop Countryside".

Yunnan University will now focus on follow-up training and guidance, and strive to achieve more excellent results in the national finals of the ninth China International "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2023.
