In order to promote communication and exchanges between Chinese and foreign college students, Yunnan University held a social practice – "Youth from Six Countries to Understand China by Exploring Yunnan's Development" – during this summer vacation.
Twelve youths from China, Tajikistan, Vietnam, Iran, Myanmar, and Nepal went to Jianshui, Yuanyang, Yuxi, Xinping, Jianxing, and other counties and cities in Yunnan for practice.
The practice team visited some rural vitalization demonstration sites and felt the way local people escaped poverty during industrial development.
Nguyen Fei-Long, a Vietnamese student in China, said, "By learning about China's rural vitalization work and communicating with residents, I started thinking about how to reduce poverty in the future."
