Yunnan University's Student Union hosted a guidance lecture for postgraduate entrance examination on Sept 27, aimed at promoting the academic atmosphere within the university and assisting students in their effective postgraduate entrance exam planning.
The event featured a presentation by Pu Tong, a chief planner of the Qihang Institute of postgraduate entrance examination.
Pu began her presentation by analyzing the prospects in postgraduate studies and employment – underscoring the importance of acquiring relevant and timely information and initiating planning well in advance.
She offered a comprehensive examination of how to make choices among various career paths, advising students at Yunnan University to establish a solid academic foundation and elevate their professional competencies to enhance their competitiveness.
The specific topics covered during the lecture included strategies for studying English in preparation for the postgraduate entrance exam and methods for selecting suitable targets for applications.
