The final round of the 18th "Challenge Cup" National College Student Extracurricular Academic Sci-tech Works Competition was held at Guizhou University in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from Oct 26 to 30.

Participating teams from Yunnan University in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province, were awarded one special prize, three first-place prizes, four second-place prizes, and six third-place prizes. The university has now won the Outstanding Cup for three consecutive sessions.

This competition attracted more than 2.5 million students from over 2,000 universities nationwide and received over 400,000 entries.

To prepare for it, Yunnan University launched a campus-level selection competition in October 2022, increased project incubation efforts, and invited experts to provide guidance.

Over the course of more than 30 years of development, this competition has become a tangible platform for young students to broadcast their talent. It is acclaimed as the "Olympics" of technological innovation for university students.
