5 Yunnan University projects approved for national fund

The list of approved major bidding projects of the 2023 National Social Science Fund of China was announced on Dec 15, with 336 projects nationwide set to receive funding. Yunnan University, with projects led by five chief experts – Wang Yueping, Wang Wenguang, Liu Shu, Yuan Qun, and Lu Guangsheng – has secured approval for their projects.

Among the 120 universities with selected projects, Yunnan university's proposed number of approved projects ranks 15th nationwide, alongside Central China Normal University, Shanghai Normal University, and Sichuan University.

Yunnan university has accumulated approval for 12 major National Social Science Fund projects in 2023, marking a new record in its annual number of approvals.
