Yunnan University approves 108 national innovation projects

The Education Department of Yunnan Province recently announced its list of projects for the 2023 University Student Innovation Training Program. Yunnan University has been approved for 108 national-level innovation projects and 270 provincial-level projects.

Various schools at the university have been actively promoting the cultivation of national and provincial innovation projects. In the announced list, the School of Earth Sciences has obtained approval for 35 projects, the School of Information has 27 approved projects, and the School of Chemical Science and Engineering has 17 approved projects.

It's worth mentioning that the project proposed by the School of Chemical Science and Engineering, titled "Research on the Synergistic Construction of Flexible Nanofiber/ MXene Composite Materials Based on Nacre Biomimicry and Their Electromagnetic Shielding and Antibacterial Properties," and the project proposed by the School of Materials and Energy, titled "Research on Efficient and Stable Luminescence of Rare Earth Ions Sensitized by YVO4, LuNbO4, and LaTaO4 Matrices," have been approved as national-level key projects.
