The list of projects for the "Outstanding Courses" program in national public administration for the year 2023 was released on Dec 27, 2023.
The project "Behavioral Promotion for Rural Vitalization: The Resilient Development Path of a Border Village" – led by Professor Ma Sang from the Public Administration Program Team at Yunnan University, with the participation of professors Deng Song, Luo Hongxia, and Chen Ran – was included on the list.
This approval marks another significant achievement in the university's teaching reform for postgraduate education in public administration. It also reflects the university's commitment to improving the quality of postgraduate talent training and comprehensively deepening the reform of postgraduate talent training models.
Since the establishment of the Public Administration Program Team at Yunnan University in 2018, the team has consistently achieved outstanding results in the national postgraduate public administration case competition. It has won various national awards on 21 separate occasions. Additionally, 40 of the team's cases were included in the Chinese Professional Degree Program Database.
The selection of the national "Outstanding Courses" project aimed to promote innovative teaching methods and disseminate ideas. It explores teaching paradigms in public administration education, and gives innovative talents the opportunity to gain practical experience.
