A series of cross-cultural exchange events for the Spring Festival recently took place in Bangladesh. The event was organized by North and South University's Confucius Institute and the University of Dhaka's Confucius Institute, both located in Bangladesh.
These institutes were jointly established by their respective universities in collaboration with Yunnan University.
On the morning of Jan 17, an exhibition featuring images of Yunnan opened at North and South University. Hu Jinming, vice president of Yunnan University, attended the event and delivered a speech during the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

Through 100 outstanding photographic works, this exhibition aimed to showcase Yunnan's rich natural resources and diverse ethnic cultures to the people of Bangladesh.
The event also featured interactive activities such as a quiz with prizes and a calligraphy activity. It allowed Bangladeshi students to learn about the Spring Festival.

On Jan 17, a celebration ceremony for Spring Festival Cultural Week took place at the University of Dhaka.

In addition, on Jan 18, a cultural exchange event was held at the RTV Television station in Bangladesh.

The topics included the cultural differences between the Spring Festival and the Bengali New Year, youth employment, career choices, and how the youth are responsible for the future.
