YNU Party secretary interviewed at CPPCC committee

Zhou Xuebin, a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Yunnan Provincial Committee and Party secretary of Yunnan University (YNU), participated in the second session of the 13th CPPCC Yunnan Provincial Committee and participated in an interview.

Zhou stated that Yunnan University is one of the earliest comprehensive universities to have been established in West China. Over the last 100 years, the university has cultivated more than 300,000 outstanding talents for the country.

Zhou emphasized that moving forward, Yunnan University will continue to implement the following three aspects of work.

Firstly, Yunnan University will promote the comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, and labor skills in its students.

Secondly, the university will continue to implement the three-year action plan for the high-quality development of education in Yunnan.

Thirdly, the university will fully leverage its high-level disciplinary and talent resources to serve national development strategies and contribute to Yunnan's economic and social development.
