Yunnan University opens campuses to the public

Starting from Feb 1, Yunnan University has fully opened its Donglu Campus and Chenggong Campus to the public.

The public can make an appointment to enter either location through the "Safe Yunnan University" WeChat account. After making an appointment, they will have to verify their identity with their original ID cards at the gate of the campuses in order to enter. Alumni should present their alumni cards in order to enter.

The opening hours for Yunnan University's Donglu Campus and Chenggong Campus are from 8 am to 8 pm every day, and visitors need to enter on foot for sightseeing purposes.

At the Donglu Campus, visitors will be able to admire cherry blossoms, feed squirrels, and stroll along Gingko Avenue. At the Chenggong Campus, they have the chance to enjoy cherry blossoms, watch fish in Zehu Lake, and observe swans playing in the water.

During the visit, visitors are expected to behave courteously, abide by campus regulations, cherish plants and animals, as well as respect public property.

To ensure normal campus operations, such as teaching, research, and living, the opening hours may change from time to time. Visitors are advised to stay informed through the "Safe Yunnan University" WeChat account.
