Yunnan University wins big at national student art show

The list of winners for the Yunnan Province leg of the seventh National University Student Art Show was recently announced. A total of 49 works from Yunnan University were awarded, including 20 first prizes, 16 second prizes, and 13 third prizes. Yunnan University was also honored with the "Excellent Organization Award".

Yunnan University’s awarded works covered a wide range of categories, including instrumental music, singing, dance, painting, design, photography, calligraphy and seal cutting, microfilms, and outstanding projects on reform and innovation in aesthetic education.

It is reported that the National University Student Art Show, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, is the largest and most influential national art event for university students.
