A rural vitalization team from Yunnan University recently participated in social activities in Yongping county, Southwest China's Yunnan province.

On Jan 15, the team visited Yongping County First Middle School to interact with students and drew up academic tutoring plans. Team members gained insights into the school's educational resources and faculty, identified existing issues, and collaborated with students from various universities to provide tutoring services.
Working alongside local teachers, team members conducted targeted teaching and tutoring sessions based on middle students' individual needs. Throughout the activities, the team enriched students' extracurricular lives through various cultural and sports activities while also focusing on the development of left-behind children. They developed personalized learning plans, offered diverse courses, and stimulated students' interest and creativity.
Additionally, while focusing on enhancing middle students' innovation and practical abilities, the team talked about university life to students, helping them contemplate future career plans.
The activities gave team members an appreciation for the significance and value of volunteer service.
