The annual conference for the Yunnan University Entrepreneur Alumni Association was held on March 9 at the Central Factory of Botanee Group.

The meeting was chaired by Guo Zhenyu, president of Botanee Group. During the event, Guo reminisced about his time at Yunnan University, which fostered camaraderie among the alumni. Guo also expressed his hope that alumni will continue to contribute to various initiatives and developments at their alma mater.
Guan Qiaozhong, chairman of Hybribio (a listed company) and an alumnus of Yunnan University, also attended the meeting. During his speech, Guan reflected on how his experiences at Yunnan University positively influenced his life and also discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on the world today.
This sparked a lively discussion among all participants, transitioning from the practical applications of artificial intelligence in traditional industries to future trends in business development.
Finally, Wu Jiande, deputy secretary of the CPC Yunnan University Committee, delivered a speech. He encouraged the alumni association to strengthen communication and cooperation amongst each other. He also hopes that all member companies of the alumni association will be able to provide more internship and job opportunities for the university’s graduates.
The conference concluded with applause and promises from the attendees to continue contributing to the development of Yunnan University, their alma mater.
