YNU holds conference of foreign economic theories

The 32nd Annual Conference of the Chinese Association for the Study of Foreign Economic Theories was held at Yunnan University from March 15 to 17. The conference was co-hosted by both the association and the university.

More than 200 experts and scholars from over 80 universities and research institutions nationwide, including Peking University and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, attended the conference.

Hu Leming, president of the Chinese Association for the Study of Foreign Economic Theories, and Zhou Xuebin, secretary of the CPC Yunnan University Committee, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Experts and scholars at the conference discussed various topics, such as the history of economic thought, research on Western economic theories and applications, comparative studies on modernization theories and paths, research on Marxist economic theories and applications, as well as research on Chinese economic theories and practices.
