Yunnan University center listed as national typical case

The National Experimental Demonstration Center of Electronic Information Technology at Yunnan University in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province, was recently selected as a typical case for national-level projects of its kind.

The center is dedicated to enhancing its service and support capabilities with regard to cultivating talent in the field of information technology.

It has established an experimental teaching team consisting of 14 teachers, including 10 with doctoral degrees and two provincial-level teaching masters. The center has actively built integrated platforms for industry-academia collaboration in engineering education, thus establishing multiple internship and training platforms such as the Huawei Cloud Developer Innovation Center.

Additionally, the center's "Digital Circuit and Logic Design Experiment" course has been approved as a national-level first-class undergraduate course. Moreover, the center has supported activities such as disciplinary competitions and innovation practices.

Through relentless efforts, the center has played a significant role in supporting the development of engineering education in the field of information technology. The quality and effectiveness of talent cultivation have been notably improved, and its development model has had a widespread impact on universities both within and outside Yunnan province.
