YNU's Changxin school exhibits works at national event

Updated: Apr 9, 2024

The 13th National Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Exhibition recently unveiled its selection in Beijing. A total of seven works created by faculty and students from the Changxin International School of Art at Yunnan University were included in the exhibition.

The comprehensive exhibition, organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Chinese Calligraphers Association, is held every four years to showcase the highest standard of Chinese calligraphy. It is also the largest and most widely participated calligraphy event in China.

Since the call for submissions was announced last year, faculty and students from the Changxin International School of Art's calligraphy department have been continuously creating and revising works in order to submit them. The seven selected works in this exhibition represent the latest achievements in calligraphy education at the school, fully showcasing the school's excellent academic atmosphere and the students' pursuit of artistic excellence.
