YNU hosts job fair for graduates

The 2024 Comprehensive College Graduates Job Fair was held at the Chenggong Campus of Yunnan University in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China’s Yunnan province, on April 12.

Employers came from 20 provinces and cities in China, including Yunnan, Sichuan, Guangdong, and Jiangsu, to participate in this event. These enterprises included 149 State-owned enterprises, 20 government departments and public institutions, as well as 133 private enterprises. These 302 enterprises and institutions provided 9,218 job positions, attracting over 12,000 graduates from both inside and outside the province to attend.

These positions involved multiple industries, including construction, education, manufacturing, information transmission, software and information technology services, leasing and business services, as well as wholesale and retail.

To improve service quality and efficiency, the job fair set up areas for negotiations and interviews, with over 50 volunteer staff members.

The atmosphere at the job fair was lively, with active communication between graduates and employers. It is reported that over 27,960 resumes were submitted by graduates, with 8,981 reaching the initial offer stage.
