YNU holds matchmaking event of patent licensing

The Information Technology Industry Session of Yunnan University (YNU) Matching Meeting for Patent Open Licensing was held at the Yunnan Digital Economy Park on April 25.

Currently, Yunnan University possesses over 1,000 patents, providing technical services to more than 500 enterprises and institutions as well as some municipal governments.

The session aimed to facilitate matching between the Yunnan University patent database and the technical challenges faced by enterprises, thereby reducing the risk of patent transfer for small and medium-sized enterprises.

During this event, the Yunnan University Digital Economy Open Licensing Patent Handbook was released, covering research from 71 technical teams at Yunnan University. It spans various industries such as the next-generation information technology industry, biopharmaceutical industry, and new energy industry, exhibiting promising market prospects and practicality.

To further promote cooperation and exchange between universities and enterprises, special activities were arranged, including a roadshow for matching the supply and demand of innovation projects and a seminar on patent open licensing.

Additionally, five scientific research project teams from Yunnan University elaborated on their research achievements and application prospects, while enterprise representatives pitched their main business and technological requirements. Both enterprise leaders and university expert teams engaged in in-depth discussions on facilitating the landing and transformation of technological achievements.
