Yunnan University (YNU) held a meeting to advance undergraduate education work on May 11 in preparation for the Ministry of Education's upcoming round of undergraduate education and teaching evaluations.
The meeting emphasized the need to focus on strengthening undergraduate education by centering on talent cultivation and leveraging the unique strengths of each school to better nurture undergraduate talent.
It was mandated that all levels of leadership actively learn and master the university's educational and teaching objectives and requirements. Additionally, cadres of schools were encouraged to improve their professional management skills and capabilities to elevate the university's ability to cultivate talent.
Furthermore, Xue Chenglong, deputy director of the Teacher Development Center at Xiamen University, delivered a special report titled "Interpretation of the Connotation and Key Points of the New Round of Undergraduate Education and Teaching Evaluation Indicators".
