The results of the 2023 annual project selection of public administration teaching were recently announced. A total of 13 projects submitted by six faculty members from Yunnan University (YNU)'s School of Government Management, including Deng Song and Ma Sang, were selected.
The selection was organized by the China Professional-degree Case Center (CPCC).
The selected projects include the green vitalization path of the Water Source Protection Area in Panlong district, Kunming, the dilemmas of preservation and development in Wengding Traditional Village, and the digital governance practices related to the improvement of the human settlement environment of Caijiawan village in Chuxiong city.
This project selection activity began at the end of October 2023 and involves multiple steps, including project review and voting. With the inclusion of these 13 projects, the total number of projects from Yunnan University included in the public administration category of CPCC has reached 53, placing it among the top universities nationwide.
CPCC is the largest and most comprehensive nationally recognized and internationally renowned project center in China. The quantity and quality of projects selected for the CPCC are important evaluation criteria for MPA education assessment and accreditation.
Moving forward, Yunnan University's public administration discipline will continue to improve its teaching methods, combining practical education with academic research to continuously enhance the quality of talent cultivation.
