The 2024 graduation exhibition of Yunnan University or YNU's Changxin International School of Art opened at the Yuanxiaocen Art Garden – located in Kunming, capital city of Southwest China's Yunnan province – on May 30.
This year's exhibition is showcasing 455 works created by the fourth and fifth groups of undergraduate students from the Changxin school.
The works span various fields within the undergraduate and graduate programs. A total of 338 paintings, seven calligraphy pieces and 110 art design works are included.
The graduation exhibition is said to serve as a comprehensive display platform and a review of teaching achievements and student training across different disciplines within Changxin.
Currently, the academy is said to be advancing in areas such as discipline building, training, scientific research, cultural heritage and innovation – as well as in international cooperation and exchanges.
Efforts are also being made to establish a wide-ranging art teaching evaluation system.
