Yunnan University wishes its graduates a bright future

The 2024 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Conferral Ceremony of Yunnan University, of YNU – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – was held with style in the square in front of the Mingyuan Building on the Chenggong Campus at 9:00 am on June 20.

During the event, YNU President Fang Jingyu offered advice and his thoughts to students. To encourage Yunnan University students to study and research harder, Fang has since 2019 personally funded the Yunnan University Scholarship for Academic Excellence.

The scholarship recognizes and rewards outstanding graduates. To date, 68 students have received the award.

During the event, cadres of Yunnan University called on the graduates to remember their wonderful time on campus, courageously pursue their dreams and achieve their life goals.
