Yang Yuying and Guo Changxin, students from the School of Foreign Languages and the School of Journalism at Yunnan University, volunteered at the Paris Olympics from July 27 to Aug 12.

Yang served as an Olympic family assistant, responsible for organizing competition materials and filling in for other volunteer positions.
During her work, Yang formed friendships with volunteers from various countries. "All my fellow volunteers are warm and friendly, and I've learned so much from them," she remarked.
Yang was immensely proud as she witnessed China win the gold medal in mixed double's table tennis. The coordination between the players, accompanied by cheers from spectators and children waving flags in support of the athletes, created a heartwarming spectacle.
Guo worked as an assistant for the Chinese Olympic Committee, providing transportation guidance and translation services to global delegations.
Reflecting on assisting the Chinese delegation arrive at the Olympics Village, Guo excitedly shared, "The first athlete I met was Ma Long. As a table tennis enthusiast, I was overjoyed."
Guo was also present for the women's 10-meter synchronized platform event. Chinese athletes Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi not only won the gold medal but also earned the cheers and applause of the entire audience with their exquisite diving technique.
