The ongoing 2024 Advanced Training Program for Chinese Teachers in Vietnam and the Study in China Yunnan University International Summer School Program kicked off at the Donglu Campus of Yunnan University or YNU – located in Kunming, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province – on Aug 14.
A total of 37 teachers and students from seven Vietnamese universities are participating in the two-week program.
The training program invites experts from prestigious institutions – such as Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Renmin University of China and Nanjing University – to provide courses in international Chinese education.
In addition to the classes, participants will visit significant cultural sites in Yunnan – including Ho Chi Minh's Former Residence, the Yunnan Nationalities Museum, the Yunnan Tea Culture Museum and the Chengjiang Fossil World Natural Heritage Museum.
The visits are expected to help deepen the understanding of participants in the shared cultural heritage between China and Vietnam.
The two events are dedicated to fostering the building of the China-Vietnam community for a shared future through language exchanges and collaboration.
