YNU team deepens China-ASEAN friendship

Yunnan University's (YNU) international student soccer team secured third place in the China-ASEAN Student Youth Soccer Invitation Tournament at the Guizhou Vocational College of Industry and Technology from Aug 23 to 26.

The soccer tournament was one of the activities at the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, with young soccer teams from China and ASEAN countries participating. After the tournament, the Yunnan University international team participated in other China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week activities.

The China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week is a vital platform for educational collaboration between China and ASEAN countries. It has been held annually in Guiyang city, Guizhou province, since 2008.

Educational experts and scholars, government officials, school principals, and student representatives from China and ASEAN countries come together during the cooperation week to discuss topics such as higher, vocational, and basic education and the cultivation of international talent.

Through the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, educational cooperation between China and ASEAN countries has deepened, enhancing educational standards and strengthening friendly relations among diverse cultures.
