Yunnan University (YNU) in Kunming city, capital of Southwest China's Yunnan province, hosted a forum for its international faculty members on Sept 11, with 33 representatives in attendance.
Duan Xingwu, vice-president of the university, delivered a welcome address at the event. The director of the university's International Cooperation and Exchange Office gave an overview of the university's history. Officers from the Kunming public security bureau's exit and entry administration department promoted regulations concerning foreigners living in China.

Attendees discussed life in China, professional development, and academic research.
YNU employs 127 international faculty members from 30 countries who contribute significantly to ecology, ethnology, astronomy, and linguistics disciplines. The university will continue improving its international faculty services to attract more global talent and support academic development.
